THE ART OF SEEING

For me, the essence of photography lies in the connection between the artist and the subject. Whether capturing a model, a portrait, a space, or a landscape, understanding these subtle connections is what transforms a good photograph into something truly meaningful.

My work reflects not only what I see but also how I feel in the moment of creation. Each image is a window into my perspective, revealing as much about my own state of mind as it does about the subject before me.

Through my lens, photography becomes more than just an image—it becomes a dialogue between vision and emotion, between the seen and the unseen.

Born in 1988 in Lisbon, Portugal, I am an internationally renowned digital artist, painter, and creative photographer. My award-winning work has been showcased in exhibitions and publications worldwide, earning recognition for its emotional depth and artistic vision.

From an early age, I demonstrated a passion for art, beginning to draw at the age of two. My journey into digital art started at 14 when I first experimented with Photoshop. The lack of available models led me to turn the camera on myself, capturing self-portraits with my first digital camera, a Sony Cybershot.

I found a unique form of self-expression in self-portraiture. Like Frida Kahlo, I believe that I am the subject I know best, using my own experiences, emotions, and life as inspiration for my art.

In my self-portraits, I explore my deepest feelings, pains, dreams, achievements, and desires, offering the viewer an intimate look into my emotional and personal journey.

My work is more than just visual storytelling—it is an invitation to reflect on identity, self-acceptance, and the human experience.
